Dear Prospective Student,
Thank you for your recent inquiry into Toyota Material Handling Systems Safety Training. Enclosed you will find a registration sheet.
Classes fill quickly! Pre-registration and payment is required to reserve your space.
New Operator Training for the Sitdown Counterbalance Lift is a three day class consisting of:
• formal classroom instruction to include basic principles of a lift truck
• driving instruction with actual driving time in a warehouse environment
• skills evaluation
Our forklift certification courses meet the OSHA 1910.178 standard for forklift operator training. Upon successful completion of the course trainees will be a skilled, certified operator ready to meet the challenges of any work environment. We work with several staffing agencies to assist you in job placement once you have passed your training.
General qualifications for becoming a certified forklift operator:
•Must be at least 18 years old..
•Able to read and speak either the English or Spanish language sufficiently toconverse with the instructors and respond to questions and instructions duringactual drive time.
•Must have some sort of driving skills.
Before completing registration please understand that you MUST PASS written test and hands on evaluation to obtain Forklift Certification.
Cancellation Policy: PAYMENT NONREFUNDABLE. Due to the limited amount of space available, a written notice of two (2) business days is required to reschedule or the customer forfeits all class fees. If cancellation is required, class may be rescheduled. Cancellation resulting in rescheduling will onlybe permitted once. If customer chooses to cancel the rescheduled class they forfeit payment and all rights to refund. No-show customers forfeit payment and all rights to refund. Company reserves the right to reschedule if less than 3 students are enrolled at no rescheduling cost to student. I have read and understand the terms of this agreement. All students should be at least 18 years of age and have some sort of basic driving skills.
